» North Middletown Emergency Services Substation - New construction of the Northern Substation for the Langhorne -Middletown Township Fire Company and Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, located in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
» Bank with Administrative Offices - Forming a new bank, local businessmen wanted to be quietly noticed as if they had been long established. The design team studied the streetscape in order to understand the context and create a building that feels like it has been there since the town’s beginning. Working with an extremely tight zone and zoning constraints, the architect was able to satisfy the client’s space needs while complying with the town’s zoning standards. The project makes use of a finished basement to meet the program requirements by providing mult-functions in the same space, such as the employee lunchroom which doubles as a conference room.
» Private Residence - The owners needed more family gathering space on the main floor level and a convenient access to the proposed swimming pool adjacent to the addition. The project involved relocating the children’s bedrooms to the new wing affording more privacy and space for the growing family. This concept resulted in freeing space in the existing home for more living space, a side entrance and restroom serving the pool as well as a second stair. Materials and building forms were selected to blend seamlessly with the original design. High end finishes were chosen to be durable and maintenance free.
