Quakertown
Train Station
Location: Broad
Street, Quakertown, PA
Size: 1,300 SF
Program: The project involved the complete interior and
exterior renovation and rehabilitation of this historic structure.
The project was completed in March of 2005. The train station was
rehabilitated with the help of federal and state grant funds after
standing vacant for many years and suffering damage from an arson
fire. Much of the original historic fabric was reused and where
damaged beyond use, was closely replicated.

Program: Adaptive Reuse of stone barn to house conference space, classroom, laboratory, bookstore, kitchen and restrooms.

Aldie Mansion
- Banquet Facilities and Heritage Conservancy Offices
Location: Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown, PA
Size: 4,000 S.F. - 2 story
Program: Continuation of adaptive reuse of the home of William Mercer, brother of Henry C. Mercer. The mansion had been converted to administrative offices for the Conservancy. This project sensitively expanded the mansion to accommodate large catered fund-raising events and receptions for weddings and other gatherings

Program: Conversion of 19th Century brick industrial buildings to Offices, shops and restaurants in the heart of New Hope’s Shopping District.

The
Red School House
Location:
Bedminster, PA
Size: 1,000 S.F.
Program: This 200-year-old Red School House in Bedminster had
suffered the rigors of time and needed a major overhaul. This school
house remains one of the few one-room school houses in the area that
has not been converted into a home, office space, or some other use.
It took a period of five months for the school house to be
completely restored. Any rotted or damaged wood was replaced and any
inappropriate fixtures removed. The roof was replaced, the belfry
rebuilt, and the inside floors completely redone. The brick work was
also repaired and a new front doorway and front steps were put into
place.

Program: Restoration and expansion of three existing retail buildings along the canal in New Hope

Size: 10,000 S.F. - 3 Story
Program: Restore a mixed-use Landmark Building in the downtown business district of Doylestown. The first
floor houses a Starbucks Coffee Shop, the second floor is occupied by a high profile law firm and the third floor accommodates eight apartments.

Size: 7,500 S.F.
Program: Convert a turn of the century automobile dealership into first class offices for our architectural and design/build firms. The project included rebuilding the existing brick structures on the site and constructing two new wood-sided additions to house the growing businesses.

Program: Determine extent of deteriorated windows, dormers and exterior trim and replace components to assure continued weather proof use of the home of Quakertown’s first Mayor.
